Millie Bobby Brown has split from Jacob Sartorius.
The 14-year-old actress had been dating the 15-year-old singer since the end of last year, but in matching Instagram Stories posted on Tuesday (31.07.18) they revealed their romance has come to an end as they decided to "mutually" call it quits.
On Millie’s account, she wrote in purple writing: "The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual. We are both happy and remaining friends."
Whilst Jacob shared a matching post which read: "The decision w mills was completely mutual & we are both happy and remaining friends. (sic)"
Rumours of a romance between the pair first began circulating late last year, when they were spotted celebrating New Year’s Eve (31.12.17) with her family at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Fuel was then added to the fire in January, when some fans noticed they were commenting on each other’s social media posts, including one tweet from Jacob which read "just another day w you on my mind (sic)", which Millie had liked on January 8.
The ‘Stranger Things’ star then posted a picture of herself cuddling up to a stuffed bear, which was later revealed to have been a gift from Jacob.
She wrote "Thanks for the bear" with a red heart emoji and he replied "[Of] course" with a matching emoji.
Jacob previously gushed over Millie in a post on Instagram to mark her 14th birthday, which she celebrated in February.
He wrote: "Happy birthday to this beautiful girl, 14!! you’re the funniest, most caring person in the entire world. I hope this year brings you lots of great memories and moments you remember forever. Can’t wait to see you, I love you and miss you so much!! Everybody go wish this girl a happy birthday @milliebobbybrown (sic)"
As of the time of writing, it’s not known what caused the split.
