Milla Jovovich hungry for British bakery Greggs

Milla Jovovich loves Greggs pasties.
The 42-year-old actress – who was born in the Ukraine and raised in America – enjoys going to her husband Paul WS Anderson’s home city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England and tucking into pastry-based meaty treats from the popular bakery chain.
She said: "Are you kidding? I love it. We walk to Asda, stop off at Greggs and pick up 24 packs of pasties and just the best scones in the world.
"And of course, we visit Alnwick Castle, where the ‘Harry Potter’ films were shot, which really is magical."
The ‘Resident Evil’ star – who has children Ever, nine, and Dashiel, 22 months, with her director husband – would love to pick up a role which requires her to adopt a British accent.
She said: "People are like, ‘No more ‘Resident Evil’, what’s next? What haven’t you done? And you know, one thing I haven’t done is a British accent. Not in a movie, anyway.
"It would take a lot of work – obviously. But I’m always up for a challenge."
And the brunette beauty would relish the chance to spend more time in London.
She said: "I grew up loving British literature – Charles Dickens, Jane Austen – so to come to London and drive through Mayfair and Belgravia is always exciting for me."
While Milla began her career when she was just 11-years-old, she insists she doesn’t feel like she missed out on her childhood, even though her experiences were very different to her peers.
She told HELLO! magazine: "Childhood is such a relative term, depending on what part of the world youre living in. There are refugees in Syria who are missing out on childhood.
"I worked, so did I get much chance to go rollerskating? No. Did I sit on the phone wth my friends as much as I could have done? No. But at the same time, I’ve had an incredible life and a great career because of that."
