Miguel announces new album

Miguel will release his fourth album ‘War & Leisure’ on December 1.
The ‘All I Want Is You’ singer has revealed his latest record, with fans already able to pre-order the upcoming LP – the follow up to his 2015 effort ‘Wildheart’ – before it hits stores next month.
While the full tracklisting is yet to be revealed, the new record will feature his Travis Scott collaboration ‘Sky Walker’.
Also confirmed are ‘Come Out And Chill’ – which Miguel recently performed on ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ – and brand new single ‘Told You So’, which was unveiled alongside a video directed by Karim Huu Do.
The 32-year-old singer has described the upcoming collection as his "most upbeat" to date, following on from the success of ‘Wildheart’, ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ (2012) and 2010 debut ‘All I Want Is You’.
Meanwhile, Miguel – who has collaborated with Mariah Carey, Kendrick Lamar and Dua Lipa on tracks in the past – has admitted he is "pretty picky" about who he joins forces with to make music.
He explained recently: "I’m pretty picky. I don’t have a reason for why. I’ve only collaborated with a handful of people. I think I’m more open to collaborations now."
And he’s also been very vocal about how annoying it is to constantly be compared to the late music legend Prince.
He said: "I think it’s obvious he’s a major influence but I think there’s also things about me that are uniquely mine that aren’t coming from his vibe. Being a reminder of Prince is a huge compliment. But no one will ever be that I don’t want to be that. It’s a bit of both, being flattered but like, ‘Hey, there’s more.’ Hopefully that’s enough to get you to listen more and go, ‘OK I see where he’s different.’ "
