Melissa Suffield pregnant

Melissa Suffield is pregnant.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress – who played Lucy Beale on the BBC One soap from 2004 to 2010 – is expecting her first child with her fiance Robert Brendan, after getting engaged just two months ago.
She told The Sun Online: "We’re so excited to become parents.
"This next step is an adventure, and we’re looking forward to raising a happy, healthy, inquisitive, strong, and accepting child, and starting our own little family, as a trio."
Robert cannot wait to become a father, and has backed Melissa to be an "amazing mum".
He said: "I’m over the moon but nervous too!
"Melissa is so used to kids, and she’ll be an amazing mum instantly.
"There is nobody on earth I’d rather take on this challenge with, and I’m looking forward to every second of it."
The couple’s baby is due in mid-March.
The pair’s news comes just two months after Melissa took to Instagram to confirm she accepted her significant other’s proposal.
Melissa, 26, wrote: "#ISaidYaass @mrrobertbrendan. #engaged (sic)"
And the pair revealed three weeks earlier they had given up alcohol.
She wrote: "Normally you’d find us in a pub on a day like today, but we’re newly booze free and drinking FRAPS. And NOT BEER. #crazy (sic)"
Melissa is no stranger to a loved-up post, and recently admitted she was loving Robert more each day.
She wrote: "I love this man more and more every day."
The star joined ‘EastEnders’ after starring in ‘Agatha Christie’s Poirot’ and ‘Magic Grandad’, in which she played respective characters called Melissa and Lucy.
She went on to play another Lucy in ‘EastEnders’ for more than 300 episodes until 2010 when she was axed from the soap.
