Megan Barton-Hanson ‘not ashamed’ of surgery

Megan Barton-Hanson is "not ashamed" of her plastic surgery as it makes her more "confident".
The Love Island finalist has reportedly had £25,000 worth of plastic surgery -including two boob jobs, a nose job, dental veneers, lip filler and Botox – and Megan, 24, has compared it to getting her hair done.
Speaking to the i newspaper, she said: "I’m not ashamed of it, I admit it. I’ve done what I’ve done because it makes me feel comfortable and confident."
"It’s like people going to get their hair done because it makes them feel nice, I’ll go and get my lips done because it makes me feel better."
During her time in the ‘Love Island’ villa, the former glamour model was honest about her cosmetic enhancements and says she is avoiding any negative attention her plastic surgery has received.
She said: "I’ve had loads of work done. The list is huge. I got a boob job at 19, then I got another one a few years later when I was older and got more money, I was like, ‘upgrade the surgeon’. Then I had my nose done, and lips filled and my teeth.
"I don’t think it should be a negative thing. If you want to do something and it makes you feel more comfortable then that’s great.
"It shouldn’t be viewed negatively at all. I didn’t take those decisions because I was trying to be a role model, or appeal to anyone; I did it for me and no one else."
Meanwhile, Megan insisted her glamour modelling days are now behind her.
She said: "I knew I wasn’t the best loved girl. I never want to go back to previous jobs I had like the glamour modelling. I was in that industry for a long time, since I was 20, now I’m 24, I’m just done. I want to move on now. I just want to start again, on a fresh page."
