Maya Jama ‘too busy’ to do Loose Women permanently

Maya Jama "wouldn’t say no" to becoming a full-time panellist on ‘Loose Women’.
The 23-year-old presenter won over the hearts of the nation last month when she appeared on the lunch time chat show – so much so that bosses were reportedly keen to offer her a permanent slot on the panel – but she has admitted she’s too busy to dedicate all of her time to the programme at the moment – but maybe one day in the future.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the brunette beauty said: "I was super nervous because I was like: ‘Oh god I’m going to ‘Loose Women’ and I’m all ill and I’m not going to get my point across and I’m all scared.
"But no it was all lovely. I loved my time on there, especially live day time telly as well. So yeah it was amazing all the girls are super fun and lovely and yeah I wouldn’t say no to doing it again. I’ve got like so much on at the moment, so I don’t know about doing it permanently, but yeah who knows for the future."
Maya has a lot of television jobs coming up over the next few weeks but her most recent gig saw her stop traffic as she transformed into the classic cartoon character Penelope Pitstop to mark the launch of the all-new series of ‘Wacky Races’ on Boomerang.
She explained: "I’ve been a huge fan since the first day I saw it pretty much, and especially Penelope Pitstop – just because I think she’s an amazing character and just like a proper good example of like a strong powerful, independent lady that looks good and still wins the races at the end of it as well. Yeah I think she’s amazing, so yeah the things I heard about her I was like yeah definitely. Plus I love fancy dress."
The all-new series of ‘Wacky Races’ launched on Boomerang on Wednesday November 1 at 5:30pm and new episodes will air daily.
