Masked Singer Australia production shut down due to Covid-19 outbreak

Production on ‘The Masked Singer Australia’ has been shut down due to a Covid-19 outbreak.

Judges Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Urzila Carlso and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, host Osher Günsberg and the show’s production team have been ordered to self-isolate after several crew members tested positive for the virus.

Network Ten said in a statement: "Production on ‘The Masked Singer’ has been immediately suspended as a result of several crew members receiving a positive test result for Covid-19.

"The health and safety of the community, and our staff and production partners is our number one priority.

"The entire production team, including the masked singers, the host and panellists are now in self-isolation. They are all being monitored closely and are in constant contact with medical authorities.

"Network 10 is working closely with the Victorian Government and the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. Network 10 is providing all crew with all the support and assistance possible."

Meanwhile, Urzila replaced Lindsay Lohan on the second season of the show and Lindsay was previously praised by Jackie O after Dave blasted her for her unprofessional conduct.

Jackie O said: "You know when Hughesy says something very tongue-in-cheek and then you read it in print it looks different.

"He’s got a certain style of comedy and he certainly doesn’t mean anything bad by it. He hasn’t got a bad bone in his body."

Host Osher added: "You hear stories about people. Would people get hired if that story was always true? Probably not!

"She [Lindsay] was so professional. She took pages and pages of notes, asked heaps of questions. She was all over it."
