Mariah Carey ended her seven-year marriage with Nick Cannon last year.
The ‘Heartbreaker’ hitmaker called time on her relationship with the 35-year-old rapper for the sake of their children Moroccan and Monroe, both five years old.
However, the ‘Without You’ musician has admitted he "never" thought the former couple would ever call time on a marriage when children were involved and "wished" the blonde beauty hadn’t filed for a divorce.
Speaking previously, he said: "I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced. Like, ‘Oh, great job. Repeat your past.’
"But life happens and it was supposed to happen. It’s fine. For [my children], I wish it hadn’t happened that way."
