Marcel Somerville: I will definitely get married

Marcel Somerville will "definitely" get married.

The former Blazin’ Squad star has admitted he can’t wait to tie the knot with girlfriend Rebecca Vieira, revealing he already has "plans" in place.

Asked if he’s planning to walk down the aisle, Marcel – who is currently preparing for the arrival of his first child with Rebecca – shared: "A million per cent. I don’t want to give too much away, I’ve got certain plans.

"I know this is the woman I’m going to spend the rest of my life with. There will definitely be wedding bells."

Marcel starred on ‘Love Island’ back in 2017, but he’d be reluctant to see his own child appear on the ITV show.

He explained: "’Love Island’ gives you a lot of opportunities, it can change your life for the better, but there are elements that I don’t really want my child to go through.

"You get trolls and you’ve got to deal with so much pressure, so there are good points and bad points. If it’s something they really want to do I’d have to break it down and give them some guidelines about what to expect and how to act."

Marcel also revealed he doesn’t know whether they’ll have a boy or girl – but he isn’t bothered either way.

He told OK! magazine: "I haven’t got a preference. Obviously a little me wouldn’t be too bad for the world, but a little Rebecca would be equally a great blessing."

Meanwhile, Rebecca – who met Marcel in a London club – revealed she’s been "buying clothes for both boys and girls".

She jokingly added: "They’ve got four seasons of clothes already!"
