Mandy Moore ‘always wanted’ to be a mother

Mandy Moore has "always wanted" to be a mother.
The ‘This Is Us’ star – who is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Taylor Goldsmith – sees motherhood as the "next chapter" for her.
Speaking in a preview clip for Sunday TODAY With Willie Geist, she said: "I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I think that’s definitely the next chapter for me … I’ve been waiting for the right person and the right time."
And the 33-year-old actress is keen to have a "small" wedding when she ties the knot with Taylor.
She added: "This is my second go-round. I feel like I eloped before and I think I’ll probably keep it very small again. I’ve never been the girl that wanted to wear a white dress. No judgement, but it’s not for me. I think it’ll be just as small with family and friends. Quit, no bridal magazines for me."
The brunette beauty is excited to start the "next chapter" in her life.
She shared: "I feel incredibly humbled and grateful by this next chapter of my life. I feel like, at 33, I’ve kinda earned it! I’m ready, I’m trying to own it, you know? … Oh yeah, my guy and I, we live together for sure."
Mandy insisted she doesn’t feel pressured to have a "traditional" family as she believes her own familial unit is anything but traditional.
She explained: "My family is the least traditional. I’ve never really talked about this but my parents are divorced. My mother left my father for a woman. And both of my two brothers are gay.
"My parents loved each other; they did an incredible job raising all of us. [I thought I could create my] own kind of normalcy [by getting married] but then I learned that that wasn’t going to be the fruitful experience I wanted it to be. [Now my family is] exactly where they should be. Everyone’s so much happier, richer, and more fulfilled, being their authentic selves."
