Madison Beer encouraged to kill herself by online bullies

Madison Beer has been encouraged to kill herself "30 times" by online bullies.
The 18-year-old singer – who has been romantically linked to Brooklyn Beckham – has been regularly abused on social media and the star finds it "upsetting" when some people simply say she should expect such harassment for being famous.
She said: "I deal with this every day; I wake up and have been told to kill myself like 30 times already; it’s crazy.
"It’s definitely what comes with it, and a lot of people say, ‘Yeah, but this is what you signed up for.’
"I think that’s such a shame to say. It shouldn’t come along with me making music and following my dreams. It’s upsetting those two go hand-in-hand now because of social media."
Despite being advised to ignore the online hatred, the ‘All For Love’ hitmaker prefers to speak up for herself when people are writing nasty things about her.
Speaking on the Z100 Morning Show, she added: "I think everyone is allowed to defend him or herself, and remember the bullying and hatred comes from them.
"I always say when someone says something negative about me, it’s really saying something negative about them. If you want to stand up for yourself, then go ahead!"
Madison recently insisted she is not dating Brooklyn, 18, but admitted he is a "cutie" and one of her best friends who she spends a lot of time with.
She said: "I’m very much single, not ready to mingle. I’m very much focused right now on my career. I’m 18 just trying to navigate my life and I’m having fun and there’s obviously boys I can crush on, but I’m very much single.
"He’s great, though, he’s a cutie, literally one of my best friends. It’s hard because now every time I’m seen with him people are like, ‘Oh my god, they’re boyfriend and girlfriend!’ But we’re seriously best friends. We hang out almost every day with our whole group of friends in LA together and he’s moving to New York soon, so we’re just having fun right now and speculation is going to get started."
