Lydia Bright: There’s no future for James Argent and I

Lydia Bright is adamant there’s "no future" for her and James ‘Arg’ Argent.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star, 26, has had an on/off relationship with her former co-star since they were both at school but, although they have a habit of breaking up and making up, she has no intention of rekindling their romance this time around.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: "I do wish him the best even though there’s not a future for us. I want him to be happy and I want him to be in a good place."
And it looks like the curtains are closed for good this time as the blonde bombshell has just announced she’s leaving the ITVBe series – the show that made her famous – but insists her reasons for walking away have nothing to do with her ex-boyfriend.
She explained: "From what I’ve heard from him, he is in a good place and he is doing really well. He is returning to ‘TOWIE’. That’s a good thing for him.
"I have not left ‘TOWIE’ because of James. We have a laugh about it. We are friends but we are not overly friendly. It’s every now and then. There’s no hard feelings. When we first broke up there was so much anger and hate and I was broken with it all. But time is the best healer. You just need to move on. You need to let go as time has gone on. Eight-and-a-half years of my life. I would hate to think what a waste. Otherwise you are forever looking back and thinking what is the point?
"He was a part of our life. They [my family] mourned the loss of James as well. They totally respected my decision. They knew I had to let go."
