Lucy Fallon films final on-screen Coronation Street scenes

Lucy Fallon has shot her final on-screen ‘Coronation Street’ scene.
The 24-year-old star is to depart her role as Bethany Platt in the coming weeks, and while she still has two more filming days remaining, her time on the ITV soap is beginning to wind down.
She wrote on Twitter: "I filmed my last on screen @itvcorrie scene today. only 2 more filming days left (sic)"
Lucy also took to Instagram to admit would always have a space in her heart for the Platt family.
She wrote: "Only 2 more filming days left… a lil space in my [heart emoji] for this lot 4ever x (sic)"
This comes after Lucy’s on-screen mother Tina O’Brien – who plays Sarah Platt – admitted she feels "really upset" that the star is leaving ‘Coronation Street’.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I’m really upset. I really, really like her. On and off screen, I think she’s a very talented actress and she has a natural ability.
"She doesn’t have to say anything and I don’t think many people have that.
"I did a scene with her the other day and she just looked at me and in her look I could read all these different emotions.
"I walked on set the other day and I didn’t really know anyone, because you sometimes work with people you don’t really know.
"Lucy was there and within five seconds we were laughing and joking.
"She’s brilliant and I’m really going to miss her."
And Tina thinks Sarah will be equally as sad to see Bethany go, because she is such good friends with her daughter.
She added: "I think Sarah is going to be really sad. Because she had her daughter so young they’ve got a friendship bond now as well."
