‘Love Island’ newcomer Alexandra Cane will go for dates with Alex George and Jack Fowler tonight (11.07.18), leaving Laura Anderson "really annoyed".
The 27-year-old make-up artist is to send a text to Doctor Alex inviting him out for brunch, and she praises him as a "gentleman", admitting her mum encouraged her to pick him out to get close to in the villa.
She tells Alex: "You had me in fits of laughter … your twerking was pretty magnificent. It made me want to have a competition with you one day.
"I feel like people haven’t really given you a chance and I wanted to give myself the opportunity to get to know you.
"You seem so respectful and you seem like such a gentleman and that is really what I’m looking for. My mum loves you, she was like, ‘Go for the Doctor!’ "
But after their date, Jack receives a text inviting him to the Hideaway to spend time with Alexandra – which leaves Laura fuming after they only just patched up their issues.
She says: "I am really annoyed."
But Jack tells her: "Don’t overthink it, it’s just a date."
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Jack says: "It’s another test. I didn’t expect to be tested again so soon but it is one of those things.
"I am happy with Laura, we have gone through a lot and what me and her have is genuine."
During Jack and Alexandra’s date, Dani urges Laura to "act cool" but she admits she is having trouble doing so.
She says: "I’m not cool, though … It’s just so hard."
However, there could be a saving grace for Laura as when Alexandra finally enters the villa she tells the girls that she finds fellow newcomer Idris Virgo attractive, too.
