Lily Allen: Honey G is offensive

Lily Allen finds ‘X Factor’ contestant Honey G "offensive".
The rapper – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – has been causing controversy with her appearances on the ITV talent competition and the 31-year-old singer has now branded the hopeful as "so wrong on so many levels".
Speaking on BBC Radio 1, the ‘Smile’ singer said: "As far as I can tell she is a white lady that dresses up in Ali G, Goldie Lookin’ Chain kind of attire.
"She has done really well on ‘X Factor’ and ITV is pouring money into her. I’m not black but I find it offensive. So wrong on so many levels, I can’t even start to talk about it."
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old contestant has recently blasted her haters over comments about her "attacking black culture" because of the songs she performs.
She said: "This was probably one of the most ridiculous things I have seen so far. Any allegations of me being racist are completely false. All that stuff to do with me attacking black culture is utterly ridiculous.
"I’ve never said anything racist or behaved in that way, just because I’m pushing music from a black origin doesn’t mean I’m attacking black culture. I think people are discriminating against me, they are using the race card against me.
"I feel like they are discriminating against me because I am white. It makes me question whether they have a problem with someone rapping who is white. I’m not the only white person in the world who likes black music. There’s no evidence, proof or truth that I am a racist."
And ‘The Fear’ hitmaker isn’t the only star to have expressed their concerns over Honey G’s performances as Simon Cowell’s close friend Sinitta previously claimed she was "faking it".
She said: "Her mother has a middle class, English accent, she’s very pretty. She’s not at all ghetto, she doesn’t say ‘yo’ and ‘what’s up’ and everything.
"So I don’t know how Honey G has developed all these traits. I think she’s faking it, but I think she believes. I think she has reinvented herself as a black American ghetto rapper."
