Liam Payne is helping Cheryl Fernandez-Versini with her new album.
The couple are currently living together in the One Direction hunk’s Surrey home, and though they largely lead a down-to-earth low-key life together, they have also been utilising his recording equipment to create new tracks for the former ‘X Factor’ judge.
A source told Heat magazine: "They watch a lot of box sets, they play quiz games and Liam’s got this amazing home studio with top-of-the-range equipment, so they work in there too.
"Cheryl loves having the time off – she knows she really ran herself ragged last year and can’t continue to do that to her health. She is taking it very easy in that sense.
"But she’s also working on new music so it’s not like she’s having a long holiday.
"I don’t know if she will go back to a TV talent show now – her dream would be to make a successful album, do a tour and get the respect and acclaim she deserves as a singer.
"She’s thinking with Liam behind her, she can make a more grown-up album, work on a few collaborations – maybe with Liam’s very high-profile mates – and spend time in LA too."
Despite their fame and wealth, the couple enjoy nothing more than a quiet evening at Liam’s local pub.
The establishment’s manager said: "He comes in about once a month with his girlfriend and they sit down and order food.
"He ordered duck once when I was working in the kitchen.
"It’s quiet and peaceful around here, since it’s mostly older people.
"A lot of people have seen Liam in Sainsbury’s but not many people realise he comes in here as well."
