Lewis Hamilton wants to make a film about his life

Lewis Hamilton revealed plans to make a biopic of his life.
The 32-year-old British Formula One champion racing driver, is keen to swap his lap-times for screen time and both produce and star in the movie – as he doesn’t think any Hollywood actor can portray him better than himself.
Sharing his visions with the Confidential On Nova radio show, he said: "I would probably play myself. I have not seen an actor that looks like me or that I’d particularly want to represent me."
Hamilton confirmed the screenplay would focus on his rags to riches story and how his dad worked three jobs to support him as a young driver who went on to become three-time world champion who won his first title with McLaren in 2008 before moving to Mercedes, where he won back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015.
He said: "My story is about coming from humble beginnings. I am probably the last of a dying breed because pretty much every other driver I’m racing with has come from wealth.
"It will be really telling a family story about where we’ve come from, how we did it as a family, the sacrifices my family made and the trials and tribulations we came across along the way."
He added: "I think it is an inspiring story for people around the world, not to be racing drivers but for anything, for families to stick together as a unit and having dreams and following those dreams and actually achieving them."
It is not yet known whether the film will also reflect on his seven-year on/off romance with former Pussycat Doll and ‘X Factor’ judge Nicole Scherzinger. The pair split after they reportedly struggled to have a long-distance relationship and Hamilton later revealed his passion for cars meant women in his life "came second".
He said: "My cars are my babies. I used to say, when I had a girlfriend, ‘I’m taking one of the girls out, so you can come if you want, but you come second when it comes to the cars."
And it’s not known whether his other showbiz pals, including the likes of Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Rita Ora will get a mention or even have cameos.
Hamilton is no stranger to rubbing shoulders with filmmakers, having attended Cannes Film Festival several times during 2016 but he admits he’s not yet penned a script.
He added: "I will do it one day".
