Lauren Goodger plans to have a baby this year.
The 31-year-old reality star is currently single but is very broody and determined to have a child, even if it’s without a partner.
She said: "I’m putting my foot down. I’ve wanted a baby for so long and 2018 is the year it’s finally happening.
"Ideally, I would like to be in a relationship, even though I feel like I’m a strong independent woman who could go it alone. But being a single mum is really tough."
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who has been single since splitting from jailbird Joey Morrison last summer – admits it can be "difficult" dating someone not in the public eye, but romancing another famous face isn’t without difficulties either.
She said: "I’d like to find someone now that I click with.
"My last two boyfriends haven’t been celebs and sometimes that’s more difficult as they don’t understand my job as much.
"But then, dating another celeb can turn things into a competition and I don’t want that either."
Lauren – who recently underwent body-sculpting liposuction in Turkey – is determined to make the next 12 months her best ever and she’s already "really happy" with how things are going.
She told Closer magazine: "I feel like this is going to be a Good-year – get it?!
"I’m currently throwing myself into a professional make-up course, which I’m really enjoying and hopefully I’ll be able to open a new academy soon. I feel like things are really looking up and I’m really happy."
