Lauren Goodger is set to front a new weightloss show.
The 29-year-old beauty is to burst back on to television screens later this year when she rejoins ‘The Only Way is Essex’ – the programme that made her famous in 2010 – but that’s not the only small screen project she has lined-up.
A source told Closer magazine: "Lauren plans to start filming ‘TOWIE’ in Stepmber and she has another show in the pipeline about the dangers of the beauty and weightloss industries. She’s determined to get her body back. She’s been telling everyone she’ll get the weight off again and toning up by going on a 400-calorie-a-day diet, which includes juicing, colonics and working out daily."
However, the brunette beauty is reportedly on a mission to make amends with her ex-fiancé Mark Wright – who is now married to Michelle Keegan – because she believes their bitter relationship has affected her television career.
The insider explained: "Lauren’s reached out to Mark a few times because she worries that them not being friends is affecting her career prospects.
"She misses her friendship and them being on goof terms and she’d love to persuade him to do ‘TOWIE’ with her and show everyone they’re friends again. It would be relaunch of her TV comeback. But so far he’s just ignored her."
Lauren dated 29-year-old Mark on and off for 10 years but they split in 2011 on bitter terms and haven’t spoken since.
