Kirstie Allsopp slams her drug-taking ‘friends’

Kirstie Allsopp has blasted her drug-taking "friends" for helping to create the "horror of county lines drugs dealing".
The 47-year-old TV presenter has taken to her Twitter account to ask casual drug users whether they ever consider the impact of their behaviour.
In response to a recent police warning – which said that county lines drug dealers are now targeting British seaside towns – Kirstie tweeted: "When people who take drugs on a regular basis, friends of mine amongst them, see the horror of county lines drugs dealing and the damage done to very young people, do they feel totally s**t about themselves or do they just think roll on legalisation? (sic)"
Kirstie later clarified her comments, explaining that she wasn’t directing her frustrations towards drug addicts.
She wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "I’m not talking about addicts, you’re not an addict when you do a couple of lines every now and then. (sic)"
Meanwhile, Kirstie previously admitted she once quit social media after being "abused" when she revealed she’d broken her children’s iPads.
The presenter caused an outcry when she revealed she’d smashed the devices to stop her two boys from playing video games.
She shared: "I didn’t want them to see that and that’s why I shut down the account.
"I usually get zero abuse on Twitter – there are controversies and people give their opinion – but it was the first time I’d been abused.
"A lot of the gamers went nuts. I think they felt that someone was trying to cut their willy off or something."
