Kim Basinger is dating her long-time hair stylist.
The 61-year-old actress, who split from Alec Baldwin in 2002, is reportedly "very happy" after finding love with Mitch Stone, who has taken care of her trademark blonde tresses, as well as her ex-husband’s hair for "many years."
A source close to the ‘L.A. Confidential’ star told Closer Weekly magazine: "After doing her hair for so many years, one day they thought, Hey, why don’t we go out on a date? And they have been very, very happy together."
The couple were recently spotted kissing on the beach in Hawaii.
Mitch, who "became a junior Olympic swimmer at the age of 12," has a long list of celebrity clients, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Elle Macpherson and Jennifer Lopez, according to his website.
Kim, who has 19-year-old daughter Ireland with former ’30 Rock’ star Alec, has kept a lower profile in recent years, but recently revealed she has become more courageous with age.
She said: "My personal philosophy is, by the time I leave this planet I would have wanted to face every single thing I’m afraid of in this world.
"I don’t look at anything as dangerous, really. Except as a mom watching a kid – that’s danger. But I think, on a personal level, the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done is really bring up a child and face my own fears. Which, you know, have been many and are becoming less."
The actress was also previously married to make-up artist Ron Snyder-Britton until 1989.
