Kem Cetinay is on a booze ban for Dancing on Ice

Kem Cetinay is on a booze ban over the festive period.
The ‘Love Island’ winner is set to hit the rink at the beginning of next year for ‘Dancing on Ice’ reboot but, in order to make sure he’s on top form for his debut, he’s decided to go on a detox and won’t be knocking back any alcohol beverages of Christmas.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "I’m on a proper detox. I’m back in training, so no drink for me. Amber [Davies, his girlfriend] is helping me stretch. I’m going to yoga lessons as well to help me."
The 21-year-old hunk hasn’t had much luck with training thus far as his professional partner Meg Marschall quit the show, meaning he’s now having to build a new bond with a replacement, and he’s suffered a nasty fall in which he smashed his head.
He said recently: "I have had quite a few falls in training – I fell on the ice and cracked my head which was pretty scary but luckily I was checked and all OK."
Kem has admitted he was "really down" during his first month of training for the show as he didn’t feel he was progressing as quickly as the other celebrities, but now that he’s finally had the training penguin taken away from him, he’s feeling more confident.
He explained: "I was really down the first month because I was so behind everyone else. My trainer said I was the least natural out of everyone on the show this year. All the other contestants have been coming down and watching me and saying they are better than me, too. But in the last week, I feel I have turned a corner because I have turned a corner because I have had the training penguin taken away from me."
‘Dancing on Ice’ will return to ITV in January.
