KATSEYE’s Wildworld Tour has been hit by further disruption after Megan Skiendiel’s concussion forced the postponement of two more arena shows.
The rising pop group’s scheduled stops in Chicago on Thursday (05.11.26) and Minneapolis on Saturday (07.11.26) were shelved while the singer focuses on her recovery, extending a difficult week for the band after a last-minute cancellation in Detroit.
Fans were informed that the dates at Chicago’s United Center and Minneapolis’ Target Center would no longer go ahead as planned, with Megan needed more time away from the stage following medical advice.
The postponements come after concertgoers in Detroit were left disappointed when KATSEYE pulled out of a performance at Little Caesars Arena shortly before showtime. The group had initially announced only that Megan was unwell, but the singer has now confirmed she is recovering from a concussion.
Addressing fans directly on social media, Megan admitted she had wanted to continue with the tour but was told by doctors that returning too soon could jeopardise her recovery.
She wrote on her Instagram Story: “I am so sorry that our Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis shows have been postponed. I currently have a concussion and am doing everything I possibly can to recover from it so I can be on stage for you all again.”
The 20-year-old star explained she explored every possibility before accepting she would have to step back temporarily.
She continued: “I wanted to try my best to still make the show happen, but I’ve been strongly advised by medical professionals that I need to take this time to fully recover and come back safely.”
The Touch hitmakers also issued an apology to supporters, many of whom had already made travel plans to attend the concerts.
The group acknowledged the frustration caused by the postponements and assured fans they are working on replacement dates, urging ticket holders to keep their tickets until further details are announced.
Megan said she was “devastated” by the decision but promised to return to the road as soon as she is healthy enough to perform again.
The latest setback follows an already challenging period for KATSEYE. Earlier this year, Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman temporarily stepped back from band commitments to prioritise their mental health.
Sophia recently thanked both the group’s management and her fellow members for standing by her during her recovery, revealing she is eager to get back on stage.
She said: “There’s been nothing but love and support from the company, my members, and everyone else around me as I work to get well. I can’t wait until I return and share the stage with my sisters again.”
