Katie Waissel thinks her ex-boyfriend wants her back.
The former ‘X Factor’ star admitted it is "s**t" that Andy Speer walked out on her just two weeks after their son Hudson was born in July but she doesn’t think it will be long until he realises he’s made a big mistake.
She said: "I haven’t had time to think about it because I’ve had to be there for Hudson.
"It’s s**t and it’s terrible. I didn’t want to break up and I don’t think he does now, I think he just got so overwhelmed with the situation.
"He’s too busy posing in the gym on his Instagram. It would be nice of him to put a picture of his son up!
"I say to him the door is always open and so when he decides he wants to show up, then he does…
"He said to me, ‘I want to go and find the best version of myself’ and I said, ‘But he’s right in front of you.’
"He needs to go and do a few bench presses and a weight will fall on his head and he’ll realise what he’s missing.
"I do think he’ll want to come back."
And the 32-year-old star – who also split from Andy for two months while she was pregnant – would take back the personal trainer if he had a change of heart, even though her loved ones wouldn’t approve.
Asked if they could get back together, she told the new issue of new! magazine: "I’d like to think so. All my friends would say I’m the biggest idiot for saying that.
"I couldn’t think of anything worse than dating anymore. I couldn’t imagine dating again.
"He’d be the only guy I’d hook up with."
