Katie Price is in talks to appear on ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The ‘Loose Women’ panelist – who previously won ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2015 and has appeared on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ twice – has been speaking to ITV bosses about competing on the revamped skating show and is looking forward to learning a new skill.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Katie is speaking to ITV at the moment about going on ‘Dancing On Ice’. They’re interested and she seems keen too.
"She wants to do it more than a lot of other shows because she sees it as a challenge and she actually has to learn something. On ‘I’m A Celeb’ and ‘CBB’ she didn’t really have to do very much.
"ITV know Katie is popular with their audience and would bring plenty of drama to the show."
However, despite Katie’s popularity, it isn’t yet confirmed the 39-year-old former glamour model will be a contestant.
The source added: "The conversations are happening but obviously it’s still very early and they are talking to lots of people."
Katie’s friend Michelle Heaton recently admitted she wants a place in the skating contest, which is returning to screens after over three years off air.
The Liberty X singer said: "Dancing on Ice’ would be my ultimate. As a performer you want to do something that you can learn fresh so you build up your CV. I’ve never done ice skating and I’ve never professionally been taught dancing. It is one of those shows that I would love to tick off my bucket list. It would be really wonderful to learn how to do something like that.
"Let’s hope I can pull some strings."
And it was previously claimed Jamie O’Hara – who appeared on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ earlier this year – is also keen to be on the show.
A source said: "Jamie never expected to do ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and surprised himself by how much he enjoyed it. He has heard about the revival of ‘Dancing on Ice’ and wants to be the first in line for the production. Jamie is nimble on his feet and thinks he could make a good go of it."
And former ‘X Factor’ star Honey G has reportedly been offered £50,000 to appear on the hit show.
A source said: "Honey G was TV gold on last year’s ‘X Factor’ so it’s a no-brainer to sign her up for ‘Dancing On Ice’. She is a huge fan favourite and is loved by the whole family, no matter what their age.
"The big question is whether she will skate in her baseball cap and sunglasses. Even the thought of seeing her in a different sparkly outfit each week is hilarious."
