Josh Gad ‘sorry’ to his kids

Josh Gad always says "sorry" to his kids.
The ‘Frozen 2’ star has daughters Ava, eight, and Isabella, five, with his wife Ida Darvish, and has said he’s forever apologising to each of his children because he’s still struggling to find the "balance" when it comes to parenting.
Speaking to Denise Albert from lifestyle group The Moms, he said: "I always look at my first daughter, and I’m like, ‘I’m so sorry. I screwed up so much because I didn’t know any better.’ And then I look at my younger daughter, and I say … ‘I’m sorry, I’m spoiling you because you’re the youngest.’ It is a constant balance, and I’m never quite sure if I’m doing it right."
Meanwhile, 38-year-old Josh previously said his children aren’t "interested" in his job, despite him voicing the loveable snowman Olaf in ‘Frozen’ and its recently released sequel.
He said in 2017: "[They said] ‘Daddy, I want more cereal.’ They’re not interested in what I’m doing."
But Josh believes his daughters are "spoiled" when it comes to the world of ‘Frozen’, as he often reads them books about the fictional characters in the voice of Olaf, and so "every day is a sequel for them".
He added: "They’re a little spoiled. because I read to them these stories at night. When I read a book about ‘Frozen’, I read it as Olaf. So, they get it firsthand. So, for them, every day is a sequel for them."
And the star also previously admitted he was "very egocentric" before having children, as he says welcoming his daughter has helped him shift his focus in life.
He explained: "I was very egocentric until I had my kids. I always worried about myself. And the second that these two little bundles arrived, it suddenly became all about them."
