John Travolta flew to Emmy Awards

John Travolta flew himself to the Emmy Awards.
The 62-year-old actor attended Sunday’s (18.09.16) ceremony with his wife Kelly Preston and their 16-year-old daughter Ella Bleu and arrived in style as the qualified pilot used his private plane to get the family to Los Angeles.
And with his show ‘The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story’ – which he produced, as well as starred in as attorney Robert Shapiro – picking up 10 Emmys, John promised to take good care of his statuette on the flight home.
He said: "Oh, I’ll take it with me. I have to, ’cause you know, they’re rarified. How often do you take home an Emmy? I have two Oscar nominations, but they’re nominations. This time I get to take home an Emmy. It’s nice."
John also paid tribute to his late son Jett, who died after suffering a seizure in 2009 aged 16, as he thanked his loved ones for their support.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: "The biggest thanks has to go to Ryan Murphy, because he made this all possible. And my family: Kelly, Ella, Ben and then my little Jetty, I love you all so much."
And with his co-stars Courtney B. Vance, Sarah Paulson, and Sterling K. Brown all honoured for their roles on the show, John vowed to "stay up all night" celebrating with his castmates.
He said: "We promised each other we would have some drinks.
"We’re gonna stay up all night. I will report to you next time I see you if everyone kept to that promise."
But the actor was still stunned by how successful a night the show had had.
He said: "I don’t know if anyone can predict this level of success.
"I knew that we had the quality of communication going, and I knew it was going to be enlightening to people, but to predict 22 nominees and 10 wins – thank you – is unbelievable. I mean, this was a revelation."
