John Mayer can’t stop crying during This Is Us

John Mayer can’t stop crying while watching Mandy Moore’s new show.
The 39-year-old singer loves the emotional drama ‘This Is Us’ but admitted it has left him in floods of tears.
He wrote on Twitter: "Just saw the first episode of ‘This is Us’ and I’m hooked. Cryin’and hooked. Not even wiping away tears for the next episodes. Just gonna let the first ones create tracks for a more even, efficient flow."
Mandy was thrilled to find out about the show’s famous fan and wrote back saying: "Glad you’re digging it."
And John replied: "Beyond dig, @TheMandyMoore. I’m about to attempt one of the most emotionally reckless stunts ever: watching an episode ON AN AIRPLANE (sic)."
John is not the only famous fan of the show, which stars Mandy, 32, and ‘Gilmore Girls’ actor Milo Ventimiglia, 39.
Abigail Breslin recently took to social media to share her love for the drama, writing: "I’m 18 minutes into the first episode of @NBCThisisUs and have already developed 80 new unrealistic expects for relationships. So thanks. Also I’m obsessed."
Meanwhile, John hasn’t just been watching TV recently, he is also hard at work on new songs and says he is set to release "more music" than he’s "ever" released in one year in 2017.
The singer – songwriter recently unveiled his first single in two years, ‘Love on the Weekend’, which will feature on his forthcoming LP ‘The Search for Everything’, and the star says it features more songs than can be squeezed onto a "standard sized album".
He said: "There’s a lot of songs for this record. "I’ll put it this way, not to be overly cryptic … but there are more songs that can fit in your standard sized album."
"[Next year I’ll release] more music than I’ve ever put out in any one year."
