Leo Sayer announces final full UK tour

Leo Sayer has announced plans for what will be his final full UK tour, confirming a major 23‑date run for autumn 2026.

The singer, who turns 78 this year, says he’s not retiring from live work altogether but is ready to scale back the heavy touring schedule that has defined his five‑decade career.

Sayer said: “I love performing for my fans and look forward to doing so for many more years, but this will be the last time I play so many dates across the country.”

He added that while he still feels “fit as ever,” he doesn’t expect to take on another nationwide run of this size as he approaches 80.

The extensive itinerary will see Sayer return to theatres and concert halls across England, Scotland and Wales, including stops at the London Palladium, Birmingham Town Hall, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and Edinburgh’s Usher Hall.

The tour begins on October 7 in Bexhill‑on‑Sea and continues through to November 15 in Edinburgh, with shows in Kings Lynn, Worthing, Folkestone, Watford, Cambridge, Poole, Southend, York, Buxton, Salisbury, Swansea, Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle and Glasgow among others.

Beyond the stage, a career‑spanning Leothology box set is due in the autumn, and his first autobiography, Just A Boy, is currently in its final editing stages ahead of a planned release later in the year. He will also continue performing internationally.

Known for a catalogue of hits that includes Thunder In My Heart, Moonlighting, One Man Band, More Than I Can Say, Have You Ever Been in Love, The Show Must Go On, and the transatlantic No.1s When I Need You and You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, Sayer promises a high‑energy, hit‑packed show for what will be his last major UK tour.
