John Legend and Chrissy Teigen had to delay their wedding.
The couple married in September last year by Lake Como in Italy, but their big day didn’t go according to plan as they were forced to push back their nuptials by four hours due to bad weather.
The ‘All of Me’ singer’s family were held up in Ohio after their flight was cancelled because of a storm, but luckily their jet-setting guests – including Kanye West, Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder – managed to pass the time with alcoholic beverages.
Chrissy said: "They had cocktails for four hours!"
This wasn’t the only set back the loved-up pair, who got engaged in 2011 after four years of dating, had to deal with though, as they were originally set to tie the knot on a Southern farm before changing their minds and deciding to wed in Lombardy instead.
Chrissy, who got married in a Vera Wang gown, almost wore cowboy boots with her stunning dress before realising that Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels suited her better.
She told the spring 2014 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine: "For a minute I was like, ‘I’m going to wear cowboy boots with my dress!’ Then I realised, that’s just not me."
