John Barrowman secures 10 stars in Bushtucker Trial

John Barrowman secured 10 stars as he took on a Bushtucker Trial on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’.
The ‘Torchwood’ star impressed in the Scary Rose trial, which saw John have to dive into a wrecked boat in a pool to collect stars, all whilst being joined by 20 crocodiles, five water pythons, 10 water dragons, 40 large eels, 10 mud crabs and 90 yabbies.
Speaking after completing the trial, he said: "I will admit that I was a little … its always scary when you do something like this because we’re not used to confined spaces. It’s not something I’d do by choice but I’d say hey lets go diving in a sunken ship with a bunch of animals and snakes … and you put a crocodile in. The eels – urgh. I don’t know how Harry is a fan of jellied eels. I just don’t like them."
However, John wanted to play a trick on his fellow campmates and returned to camp pretending that he didn’t do well.
He told the group: "The Trial was tough. I arrived and there was a huge swimming pool with a ship in it. Inside there were eels, pythons, shrimp, crabs, all of that and I was hanging on the tank and they said are you ready and I said ready and they said we’ve got a surprise for you and they put in a real large crocodile."
Before excitedly adding: "It was just awful … But I got 10 stars!"
And Sair Khan insisted she didn’t doubt John "for a second".
The actress said: "John is so sneaky, building the story to the point where I was thinking maybe he didn’t do so well and then all of a sudden he told me he got 10 stars and of course he did. I didn’t doubt him for a second."
‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’ returns on Thursday (22.11.18).
