Joel Dommett for I’m A Celebrity

Joel Dommett will compete in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 30-year-old comedian was the first star to arrive in Brisbane ahead of the upcoming series of the ITV show and he admitted he was looking forward to seeing rumoured contestant Carol Vorderman, 55.
When asked by The Sun if he fancied her, he said: "I’m single, but I don’t know if I’m ready to mingle. I like maths. I like to show my working out. I think she would appreciate that."
A production source said: "Joel will quickly become the joker of the group.
"Producers knew he could provide some laughs and signed him in an instant.
"He’ll add some real variety to the mix."
Diversity star Jordan Banjo and Olympian Sam Quek have also landed in Australia for the show.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Ola Jordan, who quit ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ last year after 10 years on the show, will join Joel and other stars including Scarlett Moffatt, Vorderman, Danny Baker and Lisa Snowdon in the Australian jungle next week.
A source said: "Ola is a no-brainer of a signing. She’s well-known, gorgeous and has strong opinions.
"Add difficult challenges and starvation to those qualities and she’s sure to make great telly."
But signing Ola to star in the tough contest wasn’t the only attraction for show bosses, as they are also hoping her outspoken husband James Jordan will be happy to give his opinion on her jungle antics.
The source added: "Having a very vocal husband is an added bonus in the deal. James is not afraid to air his opinions and will make a great guest on the spin-off show while Ola is in camp."
