Jeremy Clarkson voted best Top Gear presenter of all time

Jeremy Clarkson has been voted the best ‘Top Gear’ presenter of all time.
The 59-year-old star beat off competition from 32 other presenters who have fronted the show in its 42-year history and he called the win, in the Radio Times poll, "particularly special".
Jeremy said: "I’m overwhelmed, this is literally the 27th thing I’ve won, and it’s always special, but this is a particularly special moment."
Tim Glanfield, the editorial director of RadioTimes.com, said: "He’s certainly a divisive character, but when it comes to one show there seems to be little doubt in the minds of the British public – Top Gear means Clarkson.
"It’s perhaps unsurprising that the three men who made the show a global hit won this particular race – but the sheer distance by which Mr Clarkson took pole position solidifies his place as the star in a car, reasonably priced or otherwise."
Jeremy’s co-stars James May and Richard Hammond, came second and third respectively.
The trio left the show in 2015 after Jeremy was dropped by the BBC for his "unprovoked physical and verbal attack" on producer Oisin Tymon. They went on to front rival show ‘The Grand Tour’ for Amazon Prime Video.
They were replaced by Radio DJ Chris Evans and former ‘Friends’ star Matt Le Blanc.
In 2019, Freddie Flintoff, Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris took over the show.
Chris has taken fourth place in the Radio Times poll with Tiff Needell in fifth.
LeBlanc is in sixth place, with McGuiness and Flintoff at seventh and eighth. Vicki Butler-Henderson and Quentin Wilson round out the Top 10.
