Jennifer Metcalfe has given birth to a baby boy.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress and her partner Greg Lake welcomed their first child into the world on Tuesday (20.06.17) and both mother and baby are said to be doing "fine."
A representative for the couple told OK! Online: "We are delighted to announce that our client Jennifer Metcalfe and partner Greg Lake welcomed a baby boy into the world yesterday. Mother and baby are doing fine."
The loved-up pair announced they were expecting their first child earlier this year but they were adamant they didn’t want to find out the little one’s sex until the birth.
Jennifer said recently: "I don’t want to know. I want to get through the last push … I feel like I have had an eight-month hangover and it never ends. I’ve had everything from lack of sleep, constipation and sickness. I told Greg I can ditch the holidays but all I want to do is sleep, poo and eat! I’m just looking forward to this one arriving."
And the 34-year-old star has certainly had a busy time in the run up to her labour as she admitted last month that she and Greg had just moved in together for the first time.
The brunette beauty – who has been dating the hunk for four years – said: "We never lived together before because of work. His business is in Newcastle and I’m in Liverpool filming for ‘Hollyoaks’ so we don’t get to spend much time together. But I am so excited to live with him. We are just like best mates."
Meanwhile, the curvaceous babe, who has been on the Channel 4 soap for 11 years, has also confirmed she will be taking a year off ‘Hollyoaks’ now that the baby is here.
