Jamie Lomas confirms he will star in I’m A Celebrity .. Get Me Out of Here

Jamie Lomas has reportedly confirmed he will star in ‘I’m A Celebrity .. Get Me Out of Here!’.
The 42-year-old actor – who is known for playing Warren Fox in ‘Hollyoaks’, which he has recently quit – appeared to confirm he is the next celebrity to be lined up for the popular ITV progamme, which is hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, as he admitted he was "really excited" to be in Australia when he was pictured landing down under.
Speaking to the Mirror Online, Jamie – who was previously married to Kym Marsh – said: "I’m really excited to be here."
The ‘Casualty’ star – who portrayed Barry Southern in the series – will join YouTube sensation Jack Maynard,22, former Chelsea football captain Dennis Wise, 50, as well as The Saturdays singer Vanessa White and ‘Made in Chelsea’ star Georgia Toffolo to carry out Bushtucker trials in the Australian jungle during this year’s series.
The group will also compete against Jennie McAlpine – who is best known for starring as Fiz Brown in ITV soap ‘Coronation Street’ – to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle as she is also believed to have signed up for the programme.
Speaking previously, a source said: "Jennie’s been on the wishlist for some time and, after a lot of persuasion, she’s agreed to take part this year.
"’Corrie’ have given it the green light because they’ve been able to reschedule her storyline filming   – so everything has finally fallen into place.
"She’s bubbly and great fun, so the hope is she’ll be a great addition. The producers are over the moon to get her."
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ kicks off on November 19 on ITV.
