James Buckley reveals he’s getting a brace fitted

James Buckley is spending £2,000 to have a brace fitted.
The 29-year-old actor has revealed he is splashing out on a brace, because of the comparisons made between himself and Austin Powers while he was promoting ‘The Inbetweeners’ films.
He said: "When I went to the screenings of my ‘Inbetweeners’ movies I would look up at myself on a big massive screen and see Austin Powers staring back at me. So I’m getting a brace in a couple of weeks time."
James admitted, too, that social media has served to undermine his own confidence.
The actor said he’s become more conscious of his own appearance because of his experiences on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It’s not just girls who feel insecure about how they look – I’ve become way more insecure seeing how buff men look on Twitter and Instagram. I think, ‘Oh god I don’t look like that’."
And James – who has been married to Scottish model Clair Meek since 2012 – said that because of the money he earned on ‘The Inbetweeners’, he is able to splash out on expensive treatments.
The actor shared: "I’ve done all right from ‘The Inbetweeners’ movies. It’s the greatest position to be in as an actor as I live in a nice house with a couple of nice cars, kids are in a private school and all that is because people went out and bought DVDs and cinema tickets. I’ve got a really nice life."
