James ‘Arg’ Argent hopes to get back with Lydia Bright

James ‘Arg’ Argent is hoping to get back with Lydia Bright again.
The 26-year-old beauty is said to have recently called time on their on/off romance after coming home from a night out to find Arg – who was suspended from ‘The Only Way is Essex’ in November 2014 for cocaine use and subsequently spent a month in rehab – had relapsed and been using the drug, and while he refused to comment on the drug allegations, he admitted they are currently "on a bit of a break", although he hopes it isn’t permanent.
Arg told the new issue of Heat magazine: "Me and Lydia are on a bit of a break at the moment. Of course I’m hoping that we’ll get back together in the near future. She’s away in Bali, which wasn’t a holiday to get away from me, it was something she’d had booked in for a while."
While Lydia has been on holiday, Arg has been working hard at boot camp after ballooning to 19 stone, and is trying to get back on the right track.
He said: "I’m just getting on with things. I’m in the best place I can be.
"I’ve got some really good people around me and I’m doing all the right things. That’s all I can do at the moment."
While Arg hopes Lydia will be "proud" of him for losing weight, he insists he is just doing it for himself.
He explained: "I’d like to think that if I achieve my goal, that would make Lydia proud and she’d fancy me a whole lot more.
"In the past, I’ve wanted to drastically lose weight to impress Lydia, but you’ve got to come to the conclusion that you’ve got to do things for yourself.
"You can’t love anyone else until you love yourself. This time, it’s got to come from me.
"I can’t keep doing things to keep Lydia happy."
