Jake Roche has moved in with Ed Sheeran.
The Rixton singer has been spending "a lot of time" with the ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker over the past few months and they get on so well that they’re now living together.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Jake’s father Shane Richie said: "I know that Jake has spent a lot of time with Ed Sheeran, they’re living together now."
The 25-year-old pop rocker has even introduced the flame-haired hunk to the former ‘EastEnders’ star "several times" and he’s hoping that maybe one day he’ll write some music for him now that he’s just released his country album ‘A Country Soul’.
The 53-year-old star said: "I’ve met Ed several times – he’s a lovely guy. I do know that – Jake told me – he’s very loved up now with his childhood sweetheart [Cherry Seaborn]. He went back to her. I doubt he’d want to write music for me but you never know down the line. You’d be really surprised by who writes for other artists. Like that big hit Justin Bieber released, that was actually written by Ed Sheeran."
And having Jake living with him is no doubt a major help for Ed right now as he is currently recovering from a cycling accident, which occurred in London in October and left him with a broken elbow, a bust right wrist and damaged ribs.
Parodying his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’, Ed sang recently: "When your arms don’t work like they used to before, and I can’t even brush my teeth.’ Which is so true, so true."
He added: "Cherry had to brush my teeth … She’s a good woman."
