Iggy Azalea doesn’t know if she’s still engaged.
The ‘Fancy’ hitmaker has admitted her relationship with her fiancé Nick Young is still up in the air at the moment following allegations he cheated on her because, although she hasn’t called things off, she’s yet to speak with him.
She explained: "I guess I’m still engaged, I think so. I know I haven’t called it off. I have to talk with him and see how the talk goes. We’re not unengaged yet."
But the 25-year-old rapper – who stopped wearing her ring at the end of last month – is determined to make the basketball player grovel for a while before she’ll agree to put her diamond sparkler back on that special finger.
Speaking in a new interview with 103.7 KVIL’s Leigh Ann and Courtney Kerr, she said: "He doesn’t deserve for me to be wearing his ring right now. We’re not not engaged, but you have to do some work to [see me] put the ring back on."
The status of the couple’s engagement has been the hot topic of conversation since a video tape was leaked online of Nick, 30, allegedly telling his Lakers teammate D’Angelo Russell that’s he’d been unfaithful with a teenager.
The tape’s emergence came just a few weeks after Iggy announced she and Nick had pushed back their wedding.
However, she claimed at the time that the change in date was merely down to her globe-trotting work schedule.
The couple – who live together in Tarzana, California – began dating at the beginning of 2014 and got engaged last year.
