Although they are sadly now "consciously uncoupled", when they were together Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin didn’t disappoint with their choice of names for their two kids.
When their first child entered the world in 2004, they settled on fruit-inspired name Apple for their daughter – a title Gwyneth claims Chris was responsible for picking because he liked the name after discovering Coldplay’s North American booking agent Marty Diamond had a girl with the same moniker.
When their son was born in 2006 it seems Chris also looked to his band for inspiration as they chose Moses for the tot, which is the name of a little known 2003 Coldplay track. Or perhaps Chris was inspired by his Christian upbringing and just couldn’t forget the famous Bible story?
