Girl Power! Madonna and Kylie Minogue unite to perform TWO duets in Los Angeles

Madonna and Kylie Minogue wowed fans by performing Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’ and ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ at The Queen of Pop’s Los Angeles concert on Thursday night (07.03.24).

The pop powerhouses came together to sing the girl power anthem in time for International Women’s Day and a cover of Australian pop princess’ Kylie’s noughties hit, much to the delight of gig-goers attending the ‘Celebration Tour’ stop at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

The ‘Vogue’ hitmaker, 65, revealed her “very special guest” and then embraced the ‘Padam Padam’ hitmaker, 55.

Madonna said: “Now, this is what we call survival.

“It’s a privilege for me to be up here singing with you… God bless you, never give up.”

The pair had always wanted to perform together but just never got around to it – until now.

Kylie – who rocked a top emblazoned with Madonna’s name – shared a clip of herself in the audience on X (Twitter) and wrote: “Madonna It’s been a long time coming!!! Loved being with you!!!! Celebration Tour and it is now International Women’s Day …. Thank you and Love Love Love.”

The surprise duets come after Kylie recently said she would jump at the chance to collaborate with Madonna.

The ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ hitmaker says she is open to the idea and joked that they would have to give plenty of “warning” about the two icons being in the same building together.

Speaking to New York’s 1035KTU radio station, Kylie said of collaborating with Madonna: “I would. Of course, I would! She’s going on tour. I don’t have Madonna’s number but if I was in town and she was in town it would be amazing. The building would probably fall down. We’d need to send our warnings!”
