Gigi Hadid is "so proud" of her father Mohamed Hadid.
The blonde-haired beauty took to social media to gush about her 69-year-old parent on his birthday on November 6, which saw her hail the real estate developer as a "funny, smart, creative, charismatic, generous, and gentleman of a dad", as well as her "favourite chef" in a heartfelt post.
Alongside a string of images of father and daughter, which were posted on the 22-year-old model’s Instagram account, it read: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MY AMAZING DADDIO @mohamedhadid!!!!!! I am so proud to call you my dad and am so grateful to have a funny, smart, creative, charismatic, generous, and gentleman of a dad like YOU – whose also one of my favorite chefs in the world! (Sic)."
Although the catwalk icon was unable to celebrate her father’s special day, she admitted she is "always" by Mohamed’s side "in spirit".
She continued: "I wish I could be with you today, but I’m always with you in spirit and hope you have the best day!!!!! (sic)."
Gigi concluded her post for thanking her father for giving her the "greatest gifts" in the world, which are her siblings Anwar, 18, Bella, 21, – who Mohamed has with his ex-wife Yolanda Hadid – as well as Marielle and Alana, 32, – who are from Mohamed’s previous relationship with Mary Butler.
She wrote: "& THANKS FOR MY GREATEST GIFTS @anwarhadid @bellahadid @lanzybear @mariellemama I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH (sic)."
Bella also took to social media to pay tribute to Mohamed on his birthday, which saw her hail her father as the "funniest man" she knows.
The brunette beauty captioned a photograph of the pair, which was also uploaded on her photo-sharing site: "Happy birthday to my incredible Baba. Your generosity, Energy, work ethic, Drive and Love continue to amaze me everyday. I wish I could give you the biggest hug in the world right now You are the funniest man I know and you can always make a whole room stop and smile! This was one of my favorite days with you and I am so thankful for the time we spend together. I love you so much it hurts !!!!! #DaddysGirl @mohamedhadid (sic)."
