Gemma Collins appeared to dump her new boyfriend live on television today (02.03.18).
The 37-year-old reality TV star appeared on ‘Loose Women’ this afternoon to talk about her new found romance with Laurence, who she met on the show ‘Celebs go Dating’, but it seems their relationship is destined to end swiftly, as she admitted she had received a phone call from her ex James ‘Arg’ Argent hours before asking her on a date.
When asked about how her romance is going, Gemma said that she is now receiving more male attention than ever, saying: "I have to say it’s like the old fashioned saying you can’t get a man and then three come along at once. He [Arg] called me and was like, ‘Gem can I take you on a date tonight?’ What shall I do?"
The ‘Loose Women’ panel were quick to point out that her current lover was in the audience, but that didn’t stop the star from getting emotional as she discussed her past relationship.
When the subject of her eventually marrying Arg was brought up, she said: "I’m getting all emotional, sorry Lawrence. It’s been six years he still hasn’t asked me to be his girlfriend so unless he asks me I’m definitely going to move on."
Although Lawrence appeared to laugh through the awkward discussion, admitting he has "very thick skin" and admired the fact that Gemma keeps him "on his toes", the audience couldn’t help but cringe when Gemma suggested she wanted to marry Arg in the future.
She said: "I’ll invite you all to the wedding."
