Frank Lampard admitted to nerves ahead of his "magical" wedding to Christine Bleakley.
The soccer star married the TV presenter at St. Paul’s church in Knightsbridge, London late last year and while Frank couldn’t be happier, he revealed he was "very, very nervous" before the ceremony.
He told the Daily Mirror: "You dream about your wedding day and have anxiety about tables and food and people, but from the moment I woke up until the end of the night, everything was perfect.
"I was very, very nervous about doing the right thing and whether I would get too emotional but I loved the service and it felt like everything that a marriage should be.
"Everything from beginning to end was magical. We had people there we cared about, it was as small as we could have made it and it went perfectly."
And Frank revealed he and his bride, both 37, are still in the "honeymoon period".
He said: "People joke about it a few months later saying, ‘are you still happy in the honeymoon period?’ We really are and hope the feeling never goes.
"We have fun together, both work hard and are similar in our ways. Since our marriage we have felt the relationship kick on again."
