Fortune Feimster to star in Bad Cop, Bad Cop

Fortune Feimster is set to star in ‘Bad Cop, Bad Cop’.
The 36-year-old actress will take on the role of an as yet unnamed police officer in the comedy movie currently in development by DreamWorks Pictures.
As of the time of writing, no director has been attached to the project, although Variety magazine reports the script is being conceived by Fortune herself, alongside Brian Jarvis and Jim Freeman.
‘Bad Cop, Bad Cop’ will follow the story of two incompetent police officers who will end up discovering a conspiracy of corruption within their own police service.
Currently, no other actors have been cast in the production, and whilst Fortune’s role has not been confirmed, it is believed she will portray one of the titular police officers.
It’s not the first time Fortune has worked with DreamWorks Pictures either, as she previously starred as an Uber driver in the festive comedy movie ‘Office Christmas Party’, alongside Jennifer Aniston and T.J. Miller.
Fortune also currently has a stand up special in the works with on demand service Netflix, and recently said she was interested in doing things people "wouldn’t expect" from her.
She said: "I’m not your typical woman comic. I never wanted my size or my accent or my sexuality to define me. I wanted to take what I had and do things you wouldn’t expect I’d be able to do."
Fortune’s previous credits include work on television programmes such as American sitcom ‘2 Broke Girls’, talk show ‘Chelsea Lately’ where she appeared as a round table regular, musical drama ‘Glee’, and comedy show ‘Workaholics’.
As of yet, there is no scheduled release date for ‘Bad Cop, Bad Cop’, which is being produced by Scott Stuber’s Bluegrass Films.
