Florence and The Machine to host screening of ‘visual world’ behind forthcoming album Everybody Scream

Florence and The Machine have announced a special screening of the “visual world” behind their forthcoming album Everybody Scream.

Florence Welch and co are set to unleash the follow-up to 2022’s Dance Fever on October 31, and weeks earlier, on October 14, the band will host a private screening of the visuals shot by creative director Autumn de Wilde at a secret location in London between 4pm and 6pm BST.

A statement said: “The event consists of a screening of official videos from the visual world of Everybody Scream and a Q+A between Florence Welch and creative director Autumn de Wilde. There will be no performance element.”

Fans who pre-order the album from the group’s official website before 5pm on Wednesday (08.10.25) will be in with a chance of winning tickets in a prize draw.

The album, described as “exposing the murky in the mundane,” features contributions from Mark Bowen of IDLES, Aaron Dessner (The National, Taylor Swift), and indie icon Mitski. Lyrically, it explores womanhood, partnership, aging and mortality.

The heavy themes are inspired by the 39-year-old frontwoman’s recovery from lifesaving surgery.

So far, fans have heard the album’s title track and the brooding One Of The Greats, which she penned in one take with Bowen.

Florence and The Machine will also embark on the Everybody Scream Tour, which will kick off on February 6 at Belfast’s SSE Arena, and is due to wrap Berlin on March 9.

As well as a huge show at Manchester’s Co-op Live, the UK and European trek includes two nights at London’s The O2 arena on February 16 and 17.
