Ferne McCann wants to present ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ with Vicky Pattison.
The 26-year-old beauty is desperate to host the spin-off show with her best friend – who she met when they both competed on the main show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year – as she believes their "banter" is perfect for the screen.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Animal Hero Awards at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday (07.09.16), she said: "Obviously, the jungle is where we met. ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ would be the dream job. I think me and Vick have great banter. She’s very quick and whitty and I’m not but I bring the lols and the bants."
And it seems Ferne may be one step closer to nabbing her dream job as Vicky recently admitted that she’s been having talks with bosses about taking on the hosting duties this year.
She said at the time: "I would snatch their hands off, I really would [if I was offered the role]. There have been names thrown around. There are talks but nothing is confirmed."
Meanwhile, producers were forced to go on a frantic search for a new presenter after Laura Whitmore – who had fronted the late-night chatty programme since 2011 – announced earlier this year that she is turning her back on the show after five "incredible years" at the helm in order to spread her wings and compete on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
