Ferne McCann is drawn to ‘mean boys’

Ferne McCann is always drawn to "mean boys".
The former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who is pregnant with ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins’ baby – admits she doesn’t think she’s attracted to guys who are good for her but she is keen to settle down and find true happiness.
Speaking before Arthur was arrested in connection with an acid attack at a nightclub earlier this month and while on a break from her lover, she said: "I am a true romantic, I really want to settle down. I’m always going for similar sorts of guys and it’s just not working for me at the moment. I know what qualities I’m after but I never seem to go for those. I go for mean boys. I’m not confident when it comes to men."
The 26-year-old star thinks she is "mental" in a relationship so needs a guy who is happy to stand up to her.
She told Closer magazine: "When I have a boyfriend, I am mental. I want someone kind but firm – he needs to be firm with Ferne."
And Ferne admitted she was attracted to Arthur because he was a "real man" who could "put her in her place".
Speaking last week, she said: "He puts me in my place in a good way. I don’t need a pushover. He’s a real man.
"That’s what I love about him. Arthur is one of seven and family is so important to me.
"I love it at his house, there’s never a dull moment."
