Ferne McCann ‘considering quitting Essex’

Ferne McCann is considering leaving Essex for the sake of her unborn baby.
The 26-year-old TV star is reportedly thinking of starting a new life with her baby following the arrest of her boyfriend Arthur Collins, who has been charged with 14 counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and one of throwing corrosive fluid on a person in relation to an acid attack at a London nightclub.
A pal of the mum-to-be – who made her name on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – revealed: "She’s seriously considering moving away for a fresh start for the sake of her child.
"It’s been a hell of an ordeal for her and she really needs some space to clear her head and decide what’s for the best."
Ferne’s friends have suggested she should make a fresh start away from Essex, and the reality TV star is apparently open to the idea.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "She just needs some calm and at the moment everything in Essex would make her think of what happened.
"Everyone knows her and Arthur and they’re all talking about what has gone on.
"A couple of people have been suggesting a bit of a clean break could be the best thing and she’s taking the advice on board."
Meanwhile, another of Ferne’s pals recently admitted to being saddened by the situation, which has seen the ‘This Morning’ presenter detach herself from her friends.
The insider explained: "We had no idea [she was pregnant]. It’s really worrying – we don’t know what she’s going to do now, it’s really sad, we’re all here for her but she’s not speaking to anyone. We don’t even know where she is.
"She wouldn’t have wanted it to be like this. It’s really sad … she isn’t getting to celebrate being pregnant like other first time mum’s – she doesn’t deserve this, she is a lovely girl and she deserves only happiness. Everyone is really concerned for her."
