Fergie: The Black Eyed Peas are planning return

Fergie has let slip the Black Eyed Peas are "doing something" without her.
The ‘M.I.L.F. $’ singer hasn’t performed with her bandmates – Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo – since 2011 and although she has seen them recently she has no plans to reunite with the trio for work.
But Fergie – who joined the group on their third LP ‘Elephunk’ in 2003 – has assured BEP fans they can expect something from them very soon to mark their 20th anniversary as a band.
Speaking on UK radio station Capital, she said: "I love him (will.i.am). I mean, I love the guys. I just saw them the other day. They’re seriously like my brothers. And right now we don’t have any plans set. But I know that they’re doing something together that I can’t really talk about."
In May, The Black Eyed Peas performed together without Fergie at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the first time in five years with Will’s ‘Voice’ protégé Lydia Lucy filling in for the missing singer.
The ‘Where Is the Love?’ hitmaker accepts Fergie is currently focused on the release of her second solo album ‘Double Dutchess’ later this year he recently stated there will always be a place in the band for her.
He said: "In 1995, we performed with The Black Eyed Peas without Fergie. So in my memory bank, that’s The Black Eyed Peas. Of course we are going to perform with Fergie when that version of The Black Eyed Peas comes together. But until then, we are still going to perform with The Black Eyed Peas circa 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 … I can’t wait to perform with Fergie again. Is she just too busy at the moment? We all have these separate things that we’re doing. I don’t know what ‘too busy’ is."
The last Black Eyed Peas album was 2010’s ‘The Beginning’.
Fergie was speaking on Roman Kemp on Capital which is broadcast Monday to Thursday 7pm-10pm and on Sundays from 9am to 12pm.
